General
These terms and conditions apply when you, as a consumer (individual), place an order on Ankarsrum’s e-commerce at www.ankarsrum.com/us/.
An agreement between you and Ankarsrum is entered into for the delivery of your ordered Products when you receive an order confirmation. These terms and conditions constitute the sole terms and conditions of the agreement between you and Ankarsrum. No other terms, conditions, or understanding, whether oral or written, shall be binding upon Ankarsrum.
To shop at Ankarsrum’s e-commerce, you must be a minimum of 18 years old, not be under guardianship and legally have the capacity to enter into agreements. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have a parent’s permission to order from us.
We reserve the right to revise the delivery time in case of delays and in no event shall dates be construed as falling within the meaning of “time is of the essence”. Ankarsrum shall not be responsible for any delays in filling orders, nor shall it be liable for any loss or damages resulting from such delays regardless of whether such delays are due to force majeure or otherwise. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. Furthermore, we reserve the right to make updates to the website following technical errors, printing errors and typos. We reserve the right to correct errors in the price information before the order has been processed and for obvious mistakes in the price information when the order has been processed.

Deliveries and ordering
Free shipping is offered on orders exceeding $200, together with UPS or USPS to 48 states (not including Alaska or Hawaii) and delivered to the address you provided.
Ankarsrum offers home delivery via UPS or USPS. Current shipping costs are shown in the online checkout.
Damage to the Products, that has occurred during transport, must be reported immediately to Ankarsrum no later than seven (7) calendar days after the shipment has been received by the recipient.
Alaska and Hawaii orders
Orders shipping to Alaska or Hawaii will have a $75 flat shipping fee added at the time of checkout. If your order totals less than $100, please contact our office to place your order by phone and receive a live shipping quote. 770-516-0577
Force Majeure
Ankarsrum will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these terms and conditions that is caused by events outside our reasonable control, including, but not limited to, Acts of God, flood, drought, earthquake or other natural disaster; terrorist attack, civil war, civil commotion or riots, war, threat of or preparation for war, armed conflict, imposition of sanctions, embargo or breaking off of diplomatic relations; nuclear, chemical, biological contamination or sonic boom, epidemic or pandemic; any law or any action taken by a Government or a public authority including without limitation imposing an export or import restriction, quota or prohibition, and the collapse of buildings, fire, explosion or accident; or the completion would require sacrifices that are not reasonable with regard to the customer’s interest in Ankarsrum fulfilling the purchase. The customer is not entitled to compensation for the damage suffered as a result of Ankarsrum’s delay or fault if the delay or fault is due to an obstacle beyond Ankarsrum’s control that could not reasonably have been foreseen at the time of purchase and the consequences of which Ankarsrum could not reasonably have avoided or overcome.
Order confirmation
Once you have completed an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. If you have not received an order confirmation, please check that your email address is correct and look through any spam box in your email. Notify Ankarsrum’s Customer Service and we will send you the confirmation again.
Return
Ankarsrum offers thirty (30) calendar days return policy, starting from the date of order, with shipping costs at your charge. This means that you, as a consumer, have the opportunity to cancel your purchase for a full thirty (30) calendar days as from the date of order. However, all returns will incur a restocking fee of fifteen (15%) of the purchase price.
To report a return, kindly place a call or send us an email. You will be asked for your order number as well as other contact information needed to process your return. You, as a customer, are responsible for the item being sent back in the same condition as you received it. This includes ensuring it is completely clean, accompanied by all original packaging and original box, at your own cost. Deviations from this may result in a deduction of the purchase price in case of damage that has occurred in shipping, during cleaning or missing parts. Ankarsrum reserves the right to charge costs for restoring Products to their original condition, in addition to the restocking fee.
Complaint
Every machine undergoes a quality control before it is sent to you as a consumer. Should the Product, despite the quality control, be defected or faulty when it arrives, you as a consumer (not a company) have a seven (7) year right of complaint on original defects from the day you purchased the Product. If you wish to claim a defect in the ordered product, you must contact Ankarsrum ‘s Customer Service within fifteen (15) calendar days after the defect has been discovered, see contact information:

Purchases via authorized retailers
If you wish to complain or return any of our Products that you have purchased through one of our authorized retailers, please reach out directly to that retailer, as their return policy will apply. Ankarsrum does not handle complaints or returns relating to Products that have not been purchased directly from us via www.ankarsrum.com/us/.
Warranty rules
Ankarsrum’s warranty is as set forth in its limited warranty, available at www.ankarsrum.com/us/warranty-rules/.
Costs for warranty and complaints
If the complaint is approved, Ankarsrum will pay for the cost of return shipping. If the complaint is not valid, you will pay the cost of the return shipping yourself.
If Products are found to be defect-free when warranty is claimed or following a complaint, there will be a charge for shipping and an investigation fee of a total of $80.
Payment and prices
Secure payment
Shopping at Ankarsrum’s e-commerce is safe and easy. Payment will be made by card payment where your debit or credit card is connected to Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
Payment with card
If you have a debit or credit card issued by Visa, Mastercard or American Express, you can pay through your debit or credit card. When you choose this payment option, the amount will be reserved on your debit or credit card for your order and payment will only be made when the Products are sent to you.
Prices
All prices at www.ankarsrum.com/us/are stated in US Dollars ($) and exclude sales tax. Sales tax will first appear after you have entered your billing and shipping information and will also be listed on the order confirmation/receipt. The tax amount is calculated based on your place of residence and is displayed separately in the shopping cart.
Modification / Cancellation
To change or cancel an order, contact Ankarsrum as soon as possible via [email protected] or by phone at 770-516-0577. Make sure to refer to your order number. We reserve the right to deny a request for modification or cancellation, in our sole discretion.

You shall not reproduce, modify, transfer, grant, assign, license or use the Intellectual Property, except in accordance with these terms and conditions.
You shall not remove or alter indications concerning the Intellectual Property and concerning the confidential nature of information from Product, goods, services, programs, works, distinctive marks, inventions, designs, models and other materials created and/or made available by Ankarsrum and the Product delivered.
Ankarsrum makes no warranty concerning the appropriateness of the Product to the purposes for which you are acquiring same. Moreover, Ankarsrum makes no warranty that the Product does not infringe the rights of third parties.
Applicable law and disputes
These terms and conditions and all transactions between the parties are governed by the laws of the state of Delaware, without reference to conflict of laws principles. The application of the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded. In the event of a dispute arising from or relating to these terms and conditions, which is not resolved by negotiation between the parties, the parties hereby agree to exclusive personal jurisdiction in the state and federal courts located in Delaware.
Changes to these terms and conditions
Ankarsrum Kitchen reserves the right to make changes to the terms and conditions. Changes to the terms and conditions will be announced on www.ankarsrum.com/us/. The terms and conditions in force at any given time are available on www.ankarsrum.com/us/terms-conditions.
Should any provision of these terms and conditions be judicially declared unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed stricken and the remainder shall continue in full force and effect insofar as it remains a workable instrument for effectuating the intents and purposes of the parties. The parties further agree to renegotiate any so severed provision to bring the same within applicable legal requirements to the greatest extent possible.
